Six Degrees Movie Game #4

Ah, nothing better in life than being a xenophobic moron.  Thanks to Mags for pointing out that this is not America’s favorite game, but one that is loved globally.  So apologies, to my more enlightened readers.  Now that I the I know the game is truly international, I declare this week:

About Dave Umbricht

Dave Umbricht is a self proclaimed "guy who knows a couple of things". However, he has never claimed to know them well. Genetically predisposed to love movies, at age ten he felt really cool being the only fourth grader who knew of the film "My Dinner with Andre", thanks to Siskel & Ebert. For the next twenty years he pretended to have seen the movie until he finally watched it at age 28 and understood what all the fuss was about. He attempted to watch all of the films on Ebert's Great Movies list by age 40. He failed.

Sticking to a sports theme…. Redford in The Natural (baseball) with Robert Duvall, who was in Days of Thunder (racing)with Michael Rooker, who was in Cliffhanger (rockclimbing…. ish) with Sly Stallone, who was in Escape to Victory (footie) with Pele… Did I imply you were a xenophobe? I didn’t mean to… I may have meant Xenomorph though, I was a bit obsessed with them last week 😉 xx

Hi Mags–Great connections as usual. The only movie I could come up with that Pele was in (without looking it up) was VICTORY, but for the life of me I couldn’t connect him to Redford. Great work on that one! 🙂
