So, you’re just sitting there, minding your own business when you see it. What the hell?!? Is that a new Forgotten Flix episode downloading to my preferred mp3 listening device of choice?
And the answer, my fallow fiends, is yes!
For the month of October, as part of our 2011 October Spooky Flix Fest, and as a way to get out the vote for the 2011 Podcast Awards (You have voted for us, haven’t you? 🙂 ), we’re releasing some “deleted scenes” from the weekly podcast.
I know, I know, you’re finding it hard to believe that we could talk long enough, or go on so many tangents that our usual one hour and ten minute shows could run even longer! Well, it’s true.
So, after a brief intro by your lovable hosts (that’s us, in case you were wondering), we get into a couple clips we had to cut from episode 37, The Thing (1982). Featuring Dave Becker of DVD Infatuation and The Best Picture Podcast, we thought you might enjoy hearing what would have otherwise wound up on the virtual cutting room floor.
Enjoy, and don’t forget to call in before Sunday (10/16) with your voicemail feedback for THE NIGHT OF THE CREEPS (1986)!
The above image of the “crawling Norris head” from The Thing (1982) is provided courtesy of Kevin Spencer. Check out more of his amazing art, by clicking on the image or going to inkspatters.com!
