Forgotten Flix

We're talking about the movies YOU grew up with!

Ep. 039 – TFFP: Night of the Creeps (1986)

Night of the Creeps - Provided by Kevin Spencer at inkspatters.com

In this episode of The Forgotten Flix Podcast, we’ve got good news and bad news… the good news is… we’re talking Night of the Creeps (1986)!

The bad news is… well, unless you’ve got an alien-brain slug doing the undulating dance of the undead between your ears, there is no bad news!

Director: Fred Dekker

Starring: Tom Atkins, Jason Lively, Steve Marshal, and Cynthia Whitlow.

Synopsis: After crash-landing on earth in the 1950s, a slug-like alien parasite infects a college student. Then, 27 years later, the student (now a zombie), is unfrozen while college friends Chris and J.C. are trying to pledge a fraternity. Little do they know, however, that they’ve unleashed the “creeps”. Now, the aliens are entering the brains of unsuspecting victims and turning them into zombies.

Join us next week for the last entry in the 2011 OCTOBER SPOOKY FLIX FEST! We’ll be wrapping things up with the classic Halloween (1978)! That’s right, we’ll discuss the original Halloween and some of its sequels with guest host Darryl Taylor of The Taylor Network.

We’ll be releasing this episode earlier than normal. Instead of the usual Wednesday release, since All Hallow’s Eve lands on a Monday, well, that’s when you’ll get this episode. Consider it our Halloween treat to you!

Great episode as always, gentlemen (and I use that term loosely – VERY loosely). Thanks for the shout out, by the way! Keep it up!

      Thanks Kevin!

Glad you liked it man! Happy to give you the shout out too (it’s the least we could do).
And you use which term very loosely? “Gentlemen” or “Great”? ; )

Ha ha “Gentlemen”… Great is actually an understatement. I should be golfing today but am not due to the boy being sickly, so this Podcast lightened what is a terrible mood for being at work and not outside enjoying a day off.

Really sorry to hear that the little man is sick! But I’m glad we were able to add a little something positive to your day. Hope he feels better soon!

Oh and you guys made me blush with your kind words. While all lies, they are appreciated greatly!

If that made you blush, just wait until tomorrow’s phone call!

      Gentlemen, start your razors… 🙂

AGAIN with the phone-call!!! This is like a cliffhanger in an old “King of the Rocket Men” episode! Damn thee!!

Lies, you say? Nay, Mr. Spencer, we speak only the truth!  🙂

The weird thing about this episode was that even though I was present during the recording, I STILL laughed out loud while listening to it.  🙂 Great episode as always!
