Forgotten Flix

We're talking about the movies YOU grew up with!

Ep. 020 – TFFP: The Lost Boys (1987)

Mall Twin Ad-The Lost Boys (1987)In this episode of The Forgotten Flix Podcast, we learn that people are, indeed, strange as we discuss that campire classic, The Lost Boys (1987)!

Yep, the emo kids from Twilight got nothin’ on David (Keifer Sutherland) and his head-banging brood of bloodsuckers.

And, as always, we give you some great movie recommendations with our 6 flix picks.

This time around we’re focusing on vampire movies. And while they’re not all “horror” films, some are more terrifying than others (especially the one with Grace Jones!).

So, check it out and let them know what you think! You can send your feedback to or leave a voice mail message at (206) 203-0491. Click here to leave us (hopefully positive!) feedback on iTunes!

The more positive feedback we receive the higher we get in iTunes, pushing us even closer to complete WORLD DOMINATION!!! 🙂 *insert maniacal laugh here*

Tune in to our next episode, which begins our “First Annual Summer Movie Extravaganza”!

And our first flick is 1988’s The Great Outdoors written by the great John Hughes, and starring John Candy and Dan Ackroyd!

I think Nic Cage has only done 3 good movies that’s The Rock, Con Air and Kick Ass.
As for The Lost Boys I watched once a few years ago and it didn’t really interest me that much, But I do like the soundtrack.

I made a short film 2 years ago and I was hoping you guys could have a look at it and let me know what you think, here’s a link to the preview

      Hi Ben,

I’ll check out your flick (the trailer came together really well–excellent fight choreography, which is hard to pull off!). Also, thanks for the review man! It’s mucho appreciated. 🙂

I was listening to the show the other day and You guys were talking about Nic Cage’s movie the Sorcerer’s Apprentice. This got me thinking about what movies that are coming out this year/summer will be “Forgotten Flix” – My First choice would be the Dylan Dog movie –

Serenity is pretty recent but I think that has fallen to Forgotten Flix world….

Might be a fun end of year or end of summer show….. An yearly event to name the “Future Forgotten”.

Anyway – Have been rocking The Lost Boys soundtrack all week-

    Thanks as always-

Awesome idea Hammond! And I agree with your DD choice (although I’d like to see it). I think Jason and I will def. do a show based on “future” forgotten flix.

    And I’m glad you’re rockin’ the LB soundtrack. It’s great summer-time music! : )
